Registration of Multiple Kinects

We have fun with the Kinects here in the Vislab. One of our students Nathan Crock did an undergraduate thesis on the registration between 2 Kinects and now we’re working on a more robust registration process involving 3 or more Kinects and the Point Cloud Library.

The registration between two Kinects was done using SIFT features, Procrustes Analysis, OpenCV, and the libfreenect driver to access the Kinect.
